I had the privelege of working with Jess at Pier1 when she lived in Saratoga. We called her Quinn (or Quinnie) because there were so many Jessicas working there, including myself. She always had such a great spirit and was just a joy to be around. I will treasure the memories of our girls nights with Ashley and Nicole.
Jess was a fighter and even when things around her wereto much for one person to handle she still found a way to keep a smile on her face. I will always remember meeting her for dinner with Ashley when she was still dealing with her first battle with breast cancer just before she moved back to NJ. She had us both in tears at the restaurant telling us what she had been through in the last few months and as we said our goodbyes in the parking lot she whipped off her wig and twirled it around hooting and hollering all the way to her car. Even then she had such a great sense of humor and attitude about her.
I will always remember our chats at work, our shopping trip in Lake George with Ashley, our lil going away dinner for Nicole and eating cake on the sidewalk of Pier1 late at night.
We lost touch for a bit but she was such a great help and resource when I got pregnant with my son. She was always sending me articles to read and offering me lots of advice. I was so excited when she got pregnant with Gavin a few months after. We chatted alot back and forth through email talking about how we were feeling, what weeks we were in and all that fun stuff!
I will miss you Quinn! Thank you for the great memories!
